I have to write an essay on the girondins during the trial of king louis XVI?

well King Louis XVI was the ruler during the French Revolution and they wanted to kill him.. because he and his wife, Queen Marie Antoinette were spending money, buying unnecessary things and hosting parties while peasants were starving and had no food to eat and the government was absolutist monarchy so basically the king had all the control and he didnt call the parliament and he was a bad leader.
