Help me women, what would you want?

My ex GF is 26 im 23. We have stayed in heavy contact since the breakup and even made love 8 times. We got in a little tussle and took some time off. We are now back in heavy contact with eachother, but i keep asking her to meet up and she says i dont know and maybe and im busy. I read a book that said to get her back i have to wait for her to initiate the date. I dont know how long i can stay "best friends" cause it isnt good for me cause i just want to be her lover. What would you want?
