Why doesnt Britain get Israeli advice and tactics against the IRA?

Firstly Israel took the hiding in Lebanon from Hezbollah, 121 IDF soldiers killed by a bunch of TERRORISTS, what did Israel achieve in Lebanon? If Britain did use the tactics Israel employ, every major city in England would be rocking with bombs, soldiers, police officers and civilians on all sides would be dying, now that is something I definitely don't want to see nor im sure would any right thinking person.
