Which TV is easier for aging eyes to see: 2001, 27", flat screen Sharp 27R-FS1; or 1993, 34" Sony KV-32XBR36?

27" won't be much better than your 24" so I'd go with the Sony 32". If you can, try to look at both before choosing as one may be fading or just not as clear as they are old. If that's the case, take the clearer on.
